Former Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III to divorce

Twenty-six-year-old football quarterback Robert Lee Griffin III is filing for divorce from his wife of three years, Rebecca Griffin. Griffin is a former player of the Washington Redskins and will be playing as quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in March 2017.

Griffin met his wife while he was studying at Baylor University in Waco. Just last year, the two had their first child together, a daughter named Reese Ann. One guest at the Griffins’ 2013 wedding was reported as saying, “I don’t want to be melodramatic but it was really, really beautiful. Just the assured, confident love that they expressed for each other was so admirable, just so real, so authentic. It was all good.”
